MF Doom Sucks
Don't watch MF Doom live. Just don't. He has a cool mask, which makes it so that he doesn't even have to lip synch. His stage performance is zero.

The only person who's mic was on was the world's most irritating hype man. Yarrgh.

His music is still fantastic. Just let him do it in the studio without anyone watching at all.

I think it really was the supervillain angle. Last time he was there, he bailed because the crowd wasn't loud enough.

But yeah, that's $1.63 per minute of MF Doom.

Good thing Pigeon John kicked ass. And the DJ wasn't my speed, but the crowd seemed to like him. If Pigeon John had gone back up w/ DJ EQ, I'da been happy kinda ok with the evening.

and what's worse is that the 22 minute set was bad. His vocals were way too low, and the music didn't have any of the complexity of his studio work. Was that even MF DOOM?? I always have seen him with a scruffy face and the guy last night was totally clean shaven

i was there too. how can he expect people to be excited when you make them wait three fucking hours with no entertainment whatsoever. lame DJ playing 80s hip hop hitz which have been played out more than the fucking national anthem. and pigeon john?? the fucking carrot top of hip hop. his music is just biting the WORST parts of slugs music without any of the good. terrible. then you come out and lip sync for 20 minutes?? whopee.. maybe this was a performance art piece, if so, youve got balls. because whos going to appreciate this high art if you alienate the people who would spend 35 bucks to stand around for 3 hours waiting to see you?? so fucking stupid. what was with the stoned kevin federline clone standing in the back the whole time?? MF needs to stop smoking weed and either brush up his stage presence, or just stick to recording.. total bullshit.

Hey. Don't hate on Carrot Top, man.

I believe K-Fed was there to jump anyone that he saw with a camera. I heard the folks at the door warn that Doom would leave if his picture was taken. So that was probably their #1 plan on how to duck out of the show early, but since it didn't pan out, he just had to bolt.

I too was there...

any word on the show the next night being any different?

I had tickets for both nights but couldn't bare to be disappointed again the 2nd night, so I didn't go...

if anyone can verify that the 2nd night was indeed the same bullshit, I'd love you.

wow... i booked the SD show, and vouched on DOOM showing up... he makes me look like a liar & so now i think he can go to hell. F*CK HIS LIFE. I HOPE HE BURNS IN HELL. cant wait to see if he actually comes to the make-up scheduled for Oct 12th

MF DOOM is not going to show for the San Diego October 12 show. This bums me out, but at the same time really intrigues me. How can a highly talented and admired artist such as DOOM do such a blatantly rude jerk move on his dedicated and true fans, and in a way get away with it.and what i mean by get away with it, is he'll will probably come out with another bangn album and it will to tempting to download and bump. for real though all yall know that if doom comes out with a bangn album your going to burn it from a friend or the internet save yourself some loot( 10 to 20 bucks) You probably already got a couple of burnt doom shit already.. most people do and for the honest ones , they are few.. i've really tried to analyze this from a few angles and i see doom pulling some media stunt to gain more attention. His calculated media stunts are brilliant yet sinister, the same demeanor of dr. victor vaughn.
let ye without no sin cast the first stone, its a bible verse and also a doom lyric in his collabo with rjd2.. i still feel got that i got ripped off feeling, i will still get my refund or raise some hell, i still feel burnt , but the dude is still sick and that sucks cuz he ripped me off.. oh well i guess i have to take it out on some public property and vandalize some shit, while listening to DOOM..
